Based on Mystical Stitches: Embroidery for Personal Empowerment and Magical Embellishment by Christi Johnson, this class invites you to explore embroidery not only as a craft — but as a practice of mindfulness, symbolism, and magic.
Anything but ordinary, Mystical Stitches combines the beloved and accessible art of embroidery with a spiritual element, introducing a rich treasury of 200 magical symbols you can use to set intentions and create personal icons to wear or embellish items for the home. With patterns inspired by botanicals, animals, numbers, the cosmos, earth elements, zodiac signs, and mythical beasts, Christi Johnson offers a vibrant and unintimidating folk-art style that helps you bring spiritual elements into physical form.
